Air Filtration & NBC Protection Systems
NBC Filtration System
Advanced air purification that provides high-efficiency filtering against nuclear, biological and chemical threats, creating safe living spaces.

How it works
An NBC filtration system supplies a sealed space with clean air. A fan draws outside air through a pre-filter, a particle filter that removes dust, aerosols and biological particles, and an activated carbon filter that adsorbs chemical vapours. The clean air keeps the interior at a slightly higher pressure than the outside, so leaks flow outward.
Typical applications
- Protective shelters and command posts
- Mobile shelters and containers
- Critical control rooms
Standards and guidance commonly referenced for this product type
These are general references. Compliance and test reports for a specific product are provided per project.
How often do NBC filters need replacing?
It depends on the filter type, how long the unit runs and how contaminated the air is. Sealed filters in storage have a shelf life, and filters in use lose capacity with operating time and exposure. The supplier’s maintenance plan, with regular inspection of filters, fans and seals, sets the replacement schedule.
