Air Filtration & NBC Protection Systems
Air Filtration System
Units used in industrial and military applications to remove harmful particles from the air.

How it works
An air filtration system cleans the air supplied to a space or a process. Air passes through stages such as a coarse pre-filter, a fine filter and, where needed, a high-efficiency particle filter. A fan moves the air, and gauges show when a filter is loaded and needs changing.
Typical applications
- Industrial and military ventilation
- Protected rooms and shelters
- Clean or controlled areas
Standards and guidance commonly referenced for this product type
These are general references. Compliance and test reports for a specific product are provided per project.
What decides the filter grade?
The size of the particles to be removed and the required efficiency. General ventilation filters are classified in ISO 16890; high-efficiency (HEPA) filters are classified under EN 1822 and ISO 29463. Higher efficiency means more pressure drop, so fan size and running cost rise.
